Software/IT Portfolio Management Analyst

Key Role:

Provide IT asset portfolio management support to a DoN command overseeing software configuration management. Provide support in policy writing, briefing development, life cycle management of DoN records, IT asset management, IT network transformation, and process improvement efforts. Maintain responsibility for the database of IT asset management data and analyze and verify software inventory, from fielding to retirement. Perform continuous activities to record, validate, manage, and ensure the accuracy of records. Plan and support IT stakeholder meetings to address key software configuration management data and criterion. Lead the coordination, data compilation, and authoring of content for the development of DoN messaging in support of fleet-wide software configuration management policy. Lead the coordination of message and documentation approval processes.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with IT portfolio management or software configuration management, including with a DoN entity
-2+ years of experience with performing research, analysis, authoring, and coordination for formal military messaging, instructions, and policy documentation
-Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access required
-Experience with maintaining a database and accuracy of records
-Experience with facilitating and coordinating working group-level meetings
-Experience with coordinating across numerous and mostly external stakeholders
-Experience with recommending and implementing process improvement initiatives
-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with eMASS preferred
-Experience with DITPR, DADMS, or DITPR-DoN preferred
-Experience with SharePoint
