Software Reverse Engineering Analyst

Key Role:

Work as part of a diverse contract team supporting a DoD client. Leverage the required expertise to perform in-depth technical evaluations of foreign computer and network technologies through the analysis and identification of software capabilities and vulnerabilities of specified non-US weapons subsystems, using software program code disassembly and reverse engineering. Author concise Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) assessments in conformance with intelligence community (IC) analytic standards, which convey the results of that analysis to the client's DoD and IC partners and clients and author and deliver briefings and updates of ongoing or finished analysis, as required. Coordinate the research, analysis, and production of the assessments within the team and collaborate with multiple analytic partners across the DoD and IC.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with secure programming and object-oriented functional software design and development in C, C#, C++, Java, Python, and assembly languages

-2+ years of experience with S&TI research, analysis, and production or providing technical or analytic support to DoD or other US government agencies

-2+ years of experience with working in a classified environment

-Experience with using Microsoft Office for word processing, developing, and maintaining spreadsheets and databases and preparing presentations

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with software and firmware code assembly, disassembly, and reverse engineering and software de-buggers and diagnostic tools, including IDA Pro, OllyDbg, KaliLinux, and Metasploit

-Experience in programming associated with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA)

-Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design or the modeling and analysis of Software Defined Radios (SDR)

-Knowledge of military systems and computer network technologies, designs, and programs

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in CS or Computer Engineering a plus
