Software Tester, Senior

Key Role:
Act as a system tester, including applying analytical expertise to a complex, custom coded Web-based software application. Be an excellent individual contributor able to work as a part of the team, including delivering expertise in a variety of software QA concepts, practices, and procedures. Guide and lead junior testers on test setup and performance. Analyze and maintain test cases, test approaches, and test plans. Conduct manual functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and report issues found during the test life cycle. Create test cases that verify approved requirements for assigned modules and document results. Assist with software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis and support the continuous improvement of the current test process.

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with system testing methodologies and the system delivery life cycle (SDLC)
-Experience with leading a team of 4+ staff
-Ability to comprehend QA processes and follow QA process guidelines
-Ability to create or update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and accounted for
-Ability to ensure Agile process and standards are established and followed
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of Quality Center (QC) or other test management tools
-Knowledge of QuickTest Professional (QTP) or other automation testing tools
-Knowledge of LoadRunner or other performance testing tools
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Information Systems, CS, or a computer-related field preferred
-Certified Tester Advanced Level (CTAL-TM) Certification
