Solutions Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Lead the assessment and architectural analysis of a major enterprise system. Provide system definition, design, and maturation while making use of systems engineering specialties to develop satisfactory and feasible enterprise deliverables certified for client use. Develop, define, and document as-is design features, target architectures, and transformational roadmaps, provide the vision for how the system should evolve over time, and conduct trade studies to identify and compare alternative design solutions, as needed. Serve as a problem solver and technical SME, including providing technical resources, industry standard methodologies, and proven techniques to perform infrastructure and architecture development. Recommend possible solutions to complex or ambiguous client challenges and apply consulting expertise in defining scopes and appropriate approaches to new assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with designing, developing, and implementing production software and complex system integrations
-Experience as a senior software architect in a Web-based systems architecture and enterprise application environment, including server-side Web development in frameworks, such as Java, Spring, or Python
-Experience with Big Data storage systems
-Experience with working in Cloud environments
-Experience with developing service-oriented architectures
-TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with SDLC, including Agile and test-driven methodologies
-Experience with Cloud analytic technologies, including Storm, Spark, MapReduce, Cassandra, or MongoDB
-Ability to pick up new technologies quickly, including new Web frameworks, open source technologies, and mobile concepts
-Ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and staff professionally and deliver presentations to executives, clients, and professional peers
-Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a dynamic work environment
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree preferred; MA or MS a plus
