Space Systems Architecture Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Serve as a Radio Frequency (RF) SME for space and satellite programs. Perform architecture-level assessment, modeling, analysis, and conceptual design activities. Support building, fielding, and sustaining secure, trusted, core processing, and communications architectures, including definition and development of open systems architecture standards, identification space system information assurance boundaries and definition, and approval of security controls for each boundary consistent with the Intelligence Community Directive 503 Risk Management Framework and development and coordination of comprehensive space system interoperability requirements both internal to the system and externally to BMC2 elements.

Basic Qualifications:

-15 years of experience with DoD work
-5 years of experience in a SAP or SCI environment

-Experience with establishing, building, fielding, and sustaining secure, trusted, core processing, and communications architectures for space systems

-Experience with supporting space, ground, and launch segments development, assembly, integration, and testing

-Experience with acquisitions for large ACAT 1 programs, including Air Force

-Ability to display Chief Engineer-level engineering expertise, including credentials

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting DoD and USAF space programs
