Special Events Coordinator

Key Role:

Coordinate all facilities support necessary for special events at the headquarters complex and external buildings. Provide conferencing support at the conference center, and arrange for catering. Schedule and arrange for the delivery of special equipment, special cleanings, and security monitors. Coordinate with the client, protocol, and various contractors.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Word, including Excel and PowerPoint

-Experience as an effective administrator

-Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results

-Ability to work independently and as a team player
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of sound program management techniques

-Ability to show commitment to mission support

-Ability to communicate well at all organizational levels

-Possession of excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree preferred
