Strategic Business Developer/Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Drive program management and the full business development life cycle on large IDIQ and GWAC programs, direct staff, lead a centralized program management office (PMO) function for multiple IDIQ and GWACs, focus on maximizing contract vehicles through business development and task order capture efforts, and ensure the health and compliance within each IDIQ or GWAC for future qualifications in the civil space with an emphasis in the health market. Report to the director of strategic vehicles team within Booz Allen's business development team, evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, and alliances, oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs. Lead the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives, define vision, strategies, and tactics, and select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Maintain responsibility for developing and leading task order pursuit plans and capture plans and act as a conduit between practice leadership and prospective clients. Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth comprehension of organizational objectives and analyze strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. This position will require travel to meet with federal government clients, as needed and will be located in either McLean, VA, Rockville, MD, Atlanta, GA, or Red Bank, NJ.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience in government contracting, including client engagement and relationship management
-Experience with program management
-Experience with capture strategies and IDIQ- or GWAC-level deliverables
-Experience in working with senior executive leadership both internally and externally
-Experience with supervising terms of costs, methods, and staffing
-Experience with developing, mentoring, and coaching a team
-BA or BS degree required

-PMP Certification preferred
