Strategic Policy and Plans Analyst, Lead

Key Role:
Support the analysis of policies, strategies, plans, concepts, and doctrine, including supporting the following tasks: documenting the integration and analysis of doctrine, concepts, and requirements, such as the assessment of each relative to various Army plans and documents, activities within the Joint Staff, OSD, and other Services, technical support, such as reports, summaries, comment matrices, or other documents for the analysis of OSD, Joint, and internal Army strategies, campaign plans and policies, and supporting documents. Provide documents to G-9 personnel for the write-up, re-write, and revision of major Army, TRADOC-specific, or Joint plans, doctrines, and concepts, including Joint operating, functional, and integrating concepts and manuals regarding the development of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF) solutions or products reflecting Army current-to-future capabilities development efforts. Analyze and develop findings, conclusions, and recommendations for proposed changes in doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures for warfighting, training, and sustainment.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience at the LTC-/GS14-Senior Analyst equivalent or level or higher 
-Experience as Army Staff, Army Command, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or OSD, including comprehension of policies, strategies, and plans
-Knowledge of how to integrate the Army’s capabilities with other Services, US government agencies, and foreign government partners
-Knowledge of formal and informal procedures and processes for resourcing DoD and developing national security and military strategy (PPBES)
-Secret clearance
-BS degree
-Graduate of CGSC or equivalent MEL

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with concept to capability and gap analysis
-Experience with force development and management 
-Top Secret clearance
-Graduate of SAMS or Army Strategist Program
-Graduate of Senior Service College
