Key Role:
Analyze and administer highly complex and relatively high-risk subcontracts, including ensuring compliance with vendor, cost, schedule, legal, and performance aspects. Select qualified suppliers and manufactures and develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Solicit and evaluate proposals or quotations from vendors and negotiate prices and terms to achieve optimum results for the firm. Plan and conduct major contract negotiations. Prepare contractual documents and amendments.
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience in procurement and subcontract administration with contractors supporting federal contracts
-Experience with various types of contracts, including FFP, FFPLOE, CPFF Term and LOE, T&M, and various IDIQ types
-Experience with negotiating subcontract terms and conditions and non-disclosure and teaming agreements
-Experience with government subcontract file documentation, CPSR requirements, and the proposal process for federal acquisitions
-Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)
-Knowledge of GSA schedules, GWACs, and IDIQ vehicles
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree or 6+ years of experience with subcontracts or contracts
