Subcontracts Administrator

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for developing, negotiating, and administering complex and relatively high risk subcontracts, including ensuring compliance with vendor, cost, schedule, legal, and performance aspects. Search out and investigate qualified suppliers and manufactures. Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Make supplier or vendor visits to expedite critically needed materials, as required. Place orders with selected vendors per an assigned dollar threshold. Develop lists of prepares, establish proposal review criteria, and analyze and evaluate proposals. Plan and conduct negotiations.

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience in procurement and subcontract administration with contractors supporting federal contracts
-Experience with various types of contracts, including FFP, CPFF Completion and LOE, T&M, and IDIQ types
-Experience with government subcontract file documentation and CPSR requirements
-Experience with the proposal process supporting federal acquisitions
-Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs)
-Knowledge of GSA schedules, GWACs, and IDIQ vehicles
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed environment

-Ability to demonstrate basic computer expertise in Microsoft Office

-Ability to learn and work with procurement and financial systems
