Surface Warfare Analyst

Key Role:

Provide surface ship readiness analysis across the surface warfare enterprise. Accomplish analysis of a variety of data that roll ups and supports the optimized fleet response plan and assessment of surface ship readiness. Analyze ship deployment schedules, availability performance, and training.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in surface Navy, including department head and staff level responsibility

-1+ years of experience with analyzing, planning, and providing recommendations for one or more Navy surface ship classes, including elements of manning, training, equipping, and sustainment

-1+ years of experience with reviewing chief of Naval operation and Naval operation strategic guidance, maritime strategy, or other fleet and Joint doctrines

-Experience with surface ship maintenance and modernization planning and execution policies and processes

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with Fleet Forces Command's Readiness Kill Chain (RKC) process and the specific metrics embedded within the PESTONI, including personnel, equipment, supply, training, ordnance, infrastructure and networks, pillars of analysis

-2+ years of experience with the requirements for surface ship scheduling within the Optimal Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP) construct

-Experience with surface ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Combat Systems (CS), and Command and Control, Communications, Computers, and Combat Systems Integration (C5I) shipboard systems

-Possession of excellent presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills

-MA or MS degree
