Sustainment Capability Requirements Manager

Key Role:
Coordinate and contribute to the activities of a sustainment requirements management team. Define or refine sustainment requirements, including the development of concepts of operation and courses of action and apply expertise in sustainment subject matter within the capability division. Develop and coordinate capability requirements across all aspects derived from high-level requirements, including sustainment operational requirements and capability targets. Develop resource proposals to support sustainment capability requirements. Coordinate the development of a capability requirements brief for sustainment. Analyze the development of policies, directives, and process refinement for requirements. Move Joint decomposition into capability requirements and manage the requirements development processes for sustainment.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience in the requirements engineering field, including requirements management and education
-3 years of experience in the sustainment field
-Knowledge of requirements management tools
-Ability to demonstrate proficiency in English, as defined in STANAG 6001 Standardized Linguistic Profile (SLP) 3333 for Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in CS or Network Engineering
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with IBM Rational DOORS or equivalent
-Experience with program and project management in a complex, dynamic environment
-Experience with working in a national or military command
-Knowledge of capability architectures
-Knowledge of configuration management methods and practices
 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
