System Test Engineer, Lead

Key Role:
Act as a lead for the system test capability, applying analytical expertise to develop testing processes and procedures for complex, custom coded Web-based software applications. Be an excellent individual contributor able to work as a part of the team, including delivering expertise in a variety of software QA concepts, practices, and procedures. Guide and lead junior testers on test setup and performance. Analyze, design, develop, and maintain test cases, test approaches, and test plans. Conduct manual functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and report issues found during the test lifecycle. Create test cases which verify approved requirements for assigned modules and document results. Assist with software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis and support continuous improvement of the current test process.

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with system testing methodologies and the system delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
-Experience with leading a team of 4+ staff
-Ability to comprehend QA processes and follow QA process guidelines
-Ability to create or update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and accounted for
-Ability to ensure Agile process and standards are established and followed
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree in Information Systems or CS
-Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of Quality Center (QC) or other test management tools
-Knowledge of QuickTest Professional (QTP) or other automation testing tools
-Knowledge of LoadRunner or other performance testing tools
-Certified Tester Advanced Level (CTAL-TM) Certification
