Systems Administrator Lead

Key Role:
Maintain and update cutting-edge client R&D lab environment to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant systems are available to support customers. Provide system administration and equivalent services for the R&D lab environment, including designing, implementing, establishing, maintaining, securing, and enhancing computers and computer networks, such as physical and virtual or Cloud, using end-to-end services to maintain existing and future lab infrastructures, and establishing and maintaining new lab capabilities for future development. Administer IT equipment and user environments, workstations, servers, software, audio or video, storage, and network systems and environments. Apply Cloud computing resources to meeting mission requirements on all networks and maintain and create new Cloud compute instances, storage, and other Cloud services required to support R&D projects. Leverage issue or tasking software to receive, manage, and track support requests for RLE systems and maintain backup and restore environments. Maintain a security baseline for compliance with ICD 503 and identify and fulfill customer IT needs and requirements by working closely with the client and its customers and providing a robust RDT&E environment to meet current and future needs. Lead teams and develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. 

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience in working with Linux, including CentOS and Red Hat, Windows, including Server and Workstation, databases, including Oracle and MySQL, Web services, Internet protocols, and network attached storage (NAS) and storage area network (SAN) systems
-Experience in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
-Ability to apply expertise in computer and PC platform proficiency, UNIX file structures and capabilities, and the creation and management of Active Directory and DNS
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
