Systems Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Assist end users of computer aided design (CAD), manufacturing (CAM), and engineering (CAE) applications by troubleshooting and correcting software functionality, licensing, and operational issues. Assure CAD, CAM, and CAE, including computer aided technology (CAx) applications are correctly registered for usage on DoD networks. Test CAx applications on DoD networks, ensuring security vulnerabilities are corrected and proper functionality is maintained. Package and install CAx applications on DoD workstations. Assist users with the registration and documentation of computer-assisted engineering and manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot and diagnose a variety of computer-assisted manufacturing equipment. Build out and deploy workstations and document, report, and maintain metrics on customer service using a trouble ticketing system. Maintain the highest standard of customer service and professionalism under adverse conditions. This position is located in Bremerton, WA.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, including working on technical issues with end users and overcoming challenges with software and network connectivity

-Knowledge of CAx

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-CompTIA Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of current US Navy policies, plans, processes, operations, systems, and support functions

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent customer service skills
-BA or BS degree in an IT, Engineering, or Design-related field

-IT, Engineering, or Design-related certification

Clearance:
