Systems Administrator, Mid

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for systems administration activities under general direction. Assign personnel to various projects, direct their activities, and evaluate their work. Ensure the long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Maintain responsibility for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with three or more of the following: file servers, print servers, network access, Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Exchange, Information Security, virus protection, Windows 7, and desktop applications

-2+ years of experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows desktop operating systems, including Windows 7 and 10
-Experience with DoD configuration management, Information Assurance (IA), and systems life cycle management processes

-Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals

-Ability to support a flexible work schedule to support customer initiatives, including shift work and travel, as required
-Active Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-DoD 8570-compliant Certification, including Security+

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to be a motivated, fast-learning self-starter who shows initiative

-Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

-Ability to create and maintain sustainment documentation

-Ability to create and update systems lifecycle documentation, as required
-Ability to obtain an applicable MCTS or MCITP certification within 6 months of hire
