Systems Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Lead staff in the design, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, review, and administration of the infrastructure, hardware, and software required to manage the security and risk posture of the network and resources effectively. Develop system concepts and apply comprehension of the systems engineering life cycle to translate strategic Cyber objectives and technology and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Lead the analysis of trends and emerging technology for potential program modernization. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior employees. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly creative solutions. Act as leader on large programs or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with large-scale system development

-5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and the integration of services from third party developers

-5+ years of experience with Cloud computing

-3+ years of experience with DevOps

-3+ years of experience with Agile development

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
-Experience with VMware for the virtualization of machine resources, operating systems, and applications
-Experience with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) for Java EE compliant application hosting
-Experience with OpenSearch for publishing results in a format suitable for syndication and aggregation
-Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Redundant Array of Independent Disk (RAID) technology for access to consolidated block-level protected data storage
-Experience with security services, including Host Based Security System (HBSS), Identity and Access Management (IdAM), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) Information Event Management (SIEM)
-Experience with DoD Big Data Platform (BDP) and Cyber Situational Awareness Analytic Capabilities (CSAAC)

-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

-Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 4/4.5 Program Consultant Certification

-Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer Certification
