Systems Engineer

You focus on implementing and operating next generation security solutions for federal agencies and departments. Technical team members perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of leading security Cyber defense tools and technologies. You apply in-depth defense strategies in large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritize response actions, and develop effective counter-measures. You apply technical expertise to helping customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices through Cybersecurity.

Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) team members serve as trusted professionals for a portfolio of applications and IT tools. You exhibit functional and technical knowledge of each of the systems employed on the program, and the strategic plan for the evolution of each system. You regularly evaluate incoming requirements, determine approaches, priorities, and most suitable tools, and partner with developers to see the requirement through to implementation.

You Have:

-Experience with documenting system requirements, business rules, and impacted processes or systems and function specifications on Agile or Waterfall projects

-Experience with analyzing the development of strategies and plans for the integration of multiple IT systems and subsystems into an operational unit

-Experience with using qualitative and quantitative analytical work to assess the effectiveness of the operations

-Experience with managing the development of key technical capabilities and coordinating the integration of these capabilities across a large stakeholder community

-Knowledge of the SELC, including development, test, and program management support to manage operational effectiveness

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience in working with enterprise Cyber defense tools, including Splunk, RSA Archer, BigFix, Tenable Security Center, CyberArk, and ForeScout

-Experience in working with Jira or ServiceNow

-BA or or BS degree in a related field

-CISSP, Security+, and CEH or related certifications
