Systems Requirements Analyst, Mid

Key Role:
Serve as a consultant for a DoD program management office, including providing requirements analysis support for an enterprise IT system. Engage with system end users to identify, review, and analyze requirements for an enterprise IT system. Develop business needs and base functional requirements to ensure the IT system supports the target community. Maintain a system requirements management repository and requirements traceability matrix and lead requirement gathering meetings with end user communities. Document static data requirements using Unified Model Language (UML) notations and create functional and software requirement specifications to evaluate and design the capability for deployment of IT systems. Support sustainment activities work closely with the functional lead to monitor, track, and review requirement development schedules, system releases, testing protocols, and other deliverables to ensure compliance with the contract. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.


Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience in working with Enterprise database systems
-Experience with creating functional requirements specifications documents and software requirements specifications
-Experience with meeting facilitation and requirements gathering from multiple stakeholders

-Ability to document functional and behavioral requirements of the requested application capabilities using Unified Modeling Language (UML) notations for use case diagrams, use case narratives, sequence diagrams, and functional system testing using HP Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM) software

-Knowledge of HP ALM software or similar as a requirement to the requisition

-Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with delivering training for IT systems
-Experience with UML notations for the creation of functional requirements artifacts, including domain models, class diagrams, and object diagrams
-Knowledge of DoD environmental restoration or environmental compliance programs
-Knowledge of DoD financial and programming reporting processes
-Knowledge of hazardous waste or hazardous materials tracking and reporting processes
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
