Tableau Business Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Design and construct relational databases for data warehousing, develop data modeling, and maintain responsibility for data acquisition and access analyses, design, archive, recovery, and load strategy design and implementation. Coordinate new data development, ensuring consistency and integration with existing warehouse structure. Review business requests for data and data usage, research data sources for new and better data feeds, assist with continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance, and provide increased functionality. Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of a particular field of specialization for the completion of difficult assignments and plan, conduct, and supervise assignments, generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project. Assist with the review and evaluation of personnel performance. Act as a liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations, evaluate progress and results, and recommend major changes in procedures. Operate with considerable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions, review progress, and evaluate results.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with using Tableau to aggregate and analyze performance measure data collected from various sources

-Experience with data analysis and reporting, including dashboard development, data mining, data cleansing, modeling, metrics analysis, performance measures, and research

-Experience with the Microsoft Office program suite

-Ability to synthesize and communicate organizational performance clearly based upon information from disparate sources

-Ability to communicate information to senior executives for decision making purposes

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of overall IC agency processes and policies

-Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
