Talent Mobility and Deployment Lead

Key Role:
Play a key role in the identification and development of internal talent to be aligned to firmwide opportunities. Serve as the Accelerator deployment lead for the people services group and market support team led by the group people lead, including account-aligned HR business partners and the recruiting market lead. Attend staffing meetings, leadership meetings, or other applicable meetings where demand, open roles, or available staff are discussed. Serve as the main Accelerator point of contact for respective groups, markets, and accounts on Accelerator data and information, including deployment, such as availability, absorption, affordability, placement-billable or internal, development or learning trends, and engagement. Serve as the market’s first line assistor to access broader resource management services, including Contract Loss and New Hire experience planning and serve as a subject matter expert on Accelerator services, firm deployment or resource management policies, and PS services. Ensure consistent application of Accelerator processes across groups or markets. This position is based out of the Washington Metro Area or a Booz Allen office or talent hub and requires 3 days minimum in a Booz Allen office, Talent Center, or client site, including travel between 25-50% of the time.
 

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in internal staffing or deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development and working in the field of career mobility, either client-facing or in-house OR in a strategic human capital, workforce planning, or organizational assessment role

-Experience with building trusted advisor relationships to inform and influence business decisions

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including firm provisioned tools, such as Microsoft Teams and Web or video conference

-Ability to be a skilled communicator with employees at all levels of the organization, displaying a track record of effectively building and growing relationships and strong proficiency in oral and written communications, including reports

-Ability to translate trends and metrics into tangible staffing plans and outcomes or use of data and analytics to inform decision making processes and action planning in a client facing environment

-Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies

-BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience in internal staffing or deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development in lieu of a degree

-Experience with leading and developing high-performing teams
-Experience with designing and implementing internal career mobility best practices
-Experience with consulting
-Knowledge of internal Booz Allen business development processes, systems, and reporting
-Ability to conduct action orientation leading to measurable outcomes
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including reports
