Technical Capability Lead

Key Role:
Lead a team of social media and Web 2.0 developers and knowledge management experts for large–scale implementation across DoD. Gather user requirements, translate them to technical tasks, and coordinate a technical solution to meet the user requirements. Apply knowledge of authentication and access management, while having the strategic vision to lay out a way ahead for the DoD’s use of social business solutions, including business and tactical. Incorporate experience with technical writing and documentation, articulate in communicating both orally and in writing, and present to Flag Officers, General Officers, and members of the Senior Executive Service.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Open Source technology and social business solutions, crowd–sourcing and professional networking in the Army and DoD
-Experience with software and systems analysis, design, project life cycle methodology, system integration, implementation, and deployment
-Knowledge of  Army and DoD social media policies, trends, and constraints
-Knowledge of  MediaWiki, WordPress, JIVE Social Business Software (SBS), and other social media and content management systems
-Knowledge of MS SharePoint, SAP Business Objects, ASP.NET and C#.NET, HTML, JavaScript, XSLT and CSS, JQuery, Microsoft Visual Studio, Structure Query Language (SQL)/Server Management Studio, Transact-SQL programming and creating stored procedures and views, object–oriented analysis, design, and programming

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Agile, Sprint, or Scrum software development methodologies

-MA or MS degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering

-PMP Certification
