Technical Operations Planner

Key Role:

Serve as a strategic planner supporting Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Programs (SAP) for a Combatant Command client. Apply expertise in operational and problem-solving work as an individual or member of a small team, including active duty, DoD civilian, or contractor to resolve priority client issues, as assigned. Prepare and present General Officer or Senior Executive-level concepts of operation, reports, and briefings supporting the development and integration of service STO and SAP capabilities into exercises, current operations, and operations plans (OPLANs). This position requires the ability to travel to support mission accomplishment, as needed.
 

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with US military planning processes

-Ability to construct and present multi-faceted planning solutions that directly impact operational priorities

-Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize large amounts of data into coherent concepts and plans

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in the European theater

-Experience with the Combatant Command or Joint Staff-level

-Knowledge of STO or SAP integration, including development, execution, and management for concepts of operation (CONOPs) and operation plans (OPLANs) supporting Title 10/50 missions

-Knowledge of STO or SAP management and program development, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and strategic planning processes (SPPs)

-Knowledge of STO security requirements, including the STO Security Policies and Procedures (SPP) guide and CJCSI 3120.08D

-Knowledge of human intelligence (HUMINT) and signals intelligence (SIGINT) planning and integration

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-MA or MS degree preferred

-Completion of a Service or Joint STO Planners' Course

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
