Technical Product Owner, Senior

Key Role:

Help the government product owner to identify and prioritize backlog for a specific products, applications, and services in preparation for the product increment planning event and team-level sprint planning event. Work with development teams to decompose features and capability requirements into user stories. Help allocate user stories to sprints and releases at the sprint planning and product increment planning events. Help development teams to clarify requirements. Develop user story acceptance criteria. Provide feedback to development teams to continuously improve the SAFe process via sprint reviews and retrospectives. Establish and maintain requirements verification traceability matrix. Train Tier 1 staff on new and upgraded applications and capabilities.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with managing projects using various SDLC models, including CMMI, Agile, or spiral development

-Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust quickly to shifting priorities, solve problems, and deal with a variety of options in complex situations

-Ability to manage teams and mentor and grow people effectively

-Ability to work with client organizations to translate business needs into a technology strategy and solution

-Ability to leverage a technology background, including the successful design and delivery of software systems, IT system assessments, analysis of alternatives, product selection processes, and technology strategy implementations

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree and 12+ years and of experience with technical product management or MA or MS degree and 10+ years of experience with technical product management
