Technical Risk and Quality Leader

Key Role:

Play a key role as a senior team member in the Booz Allen quality organization which oversees the entire quality program for the firm and participate broadly towards the goals of the program. Participate in the examination of client-facing systems, services, and project delivery, responsible for preparing, reviewing, and monitoring a portfolio of technical programs and projects, including systems and software, engineering, and Cybersecurity initiatives. Provide summary analyses regarding the organization’s condition and evolving portfolio risks through meetings and reviews with firm-wide management, program or project managers, senior executives, and market leads, including the review of organizational reports, participating on and leading onsite assessments, and interviewing both senior internal and client leadership. Prepare communications for management, informing them on organizational technical risk and quality posture across the institution’s portfolio of systems, suppliers, programs, and projects. Assist with creating a culture of quality consciousness that strives to continually learn and improve. Maintain responsibility for risk and quality management instructional development and delivery, personnel supervision, goal development, guidance to staff, and recruiting and hiring recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience in systems or software development, Cybersecurity, or in an engineering and science role

-Experience with technical quality or risk management

-Experience with interfacing with technical and management personnel at all levels

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 4+ additional years of experience in systems or software development, Cybersecurity, or engineering and science roles in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with industry quality standards and certifications, including ISO or CMMI

-Possession of excellent independent thinking, decision-making, and analytical skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in technical disciplines

-PMP or other Professional Project Management Certification
