Technical Trainer, Mid

Key Role:

Plan, develop, and implement technical product training programs for mission management support personnel and clients and develop and maintain site training materials, including training aids, handbooks, Job Qualification Standards (JQSs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), formal courses, and site–specific courses and materials. Provide qualification and OJT training for all operations personnel. Obtain the information needed to prepare training programs and training materials, design product demonstrations, develop course content, determine methodology, and coordinate the development of training aids. Review vendor–provided training to ensure site compliance and integrate training materials for assigned courses resulting from new equipment or equipment modifications. Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Ensure projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans. Improve awareness and comprehension of business processes and supporting tools, foster redundancy in competencies, cultivate mastery of complex automated tools, decrease the time elapsed between new personnel arrival, and achieve mission proficiency.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with training in developing and administrating training and educational material

-2+ years of experience with collection management, mission management, or a SIGINT operational environment

-Experience with developing and maintaining JQSs

-Experience with developing, maintaining, and managing personnel certification panels and boards

-Ability to certify in a 24/7 operational position and provide occasional backfill

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with collection management, mission management, or SIGINT, BA or BS degree and 3 years of experience with collection management, mission management, or SIGINT, or MA or MS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a National Agency Adjunct or NRO Instructor

-Experience with multiple collection management, mission management, and SIGINT operational environments preferred

-Knowledge of mission management tools, systems, and processes

-Knowledge of multi–system collection management, mission management, and mission execution concepts

-MA or MS degree in a related field


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
