Technology Business Management Consultant

Key Role:

Translate executive vision into technical requirements and subsequent deliverables. Conduct operations and financial analysis and develop insights and recommendations. Create effective presentations and other project documents that convey findings, insights, and recommendations and create a relationship with the appropriate client personnel to capture and monitor the savings both financial and operational as the engagement moves through its life cycle. Gather functional and business requirements and translate that information rapidly into a working set of operational and financial models, dashboards, and management reports. Collaborate with IT executives, budget and finance professionals on IT total cost of ownership, financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives. Act as a single point of contact for business information officers and other IT executives and optimize TBM process for continuous improvement of the month-end process aiming to reduce and automate the work required to validate and upload data. Perform month-end process, request and upload financial and IT datasets, perform financial reconciliations, and solve model fallouts with appropriate stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with analytics to import, transform, and rationalize data from systems of record, including general ledger, fixed assets, eCPIC, OPPM, centralized application repository, and asset manager

-Experience with managing stakeholders and ensuring stakeholders are aligned and that business processes are articulated
​-Experience with IT services and financial management processes and best practices, including budgeting, cost allocations, capital and operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application and infrastructure support

-Ability to operationalize data monthly by loading, validating, and reviewing on a timely basis

-Ability to perform data quality assessment, execute data quality assessment, and report on financial and IT datasets detailing all identified issues and correction actions needed, according to the framework already in place

-Ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organization

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

-Possession of excellent leadership and organizational skills in motivating and managing organizations or teams to deliver desired results and experience in analytical and big data analysis skills
