Technology Scouting Program Manager

Key Role:
Lead a world-wide client team in engaging and connecting with key innovation ecosystems to scout, monitor, and assess technology opportunities to strengthen a commercial client’s core business and find new growth areas. Identify, assess, prioritize, and incubate technologies according to existing client processes and create new processes and partnerships, where needed. Serve as the program office manager, including maintaining responsibility for shaping the vision and strategy for a newly formed office. Analyze the design and delivery of scalable workflow and operational processes that coordinate activities across the team and deliver results. Draft and deliver executive-level presentations to venture capitalists, the start-up community, and senior client management. Coordinate and facilitate key strategic and tactical meetings for a global team, including face-to-face, when needed. Serve as the key point-of-contact for the team, partners, and client leadership. This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including internationally and is located in Dallas, TX.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with managing complex teams and operational processes in an executive setting
-Experience with guiding and facilitating organizations through the adoption of new and emerging technologies, including assessing, designing, or implementing technology solutions
-Experience with presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including briefings and leading client and team-based discussions
-Ability to produce and contribute to deliverables independently within a short time frame in a collaborative team environment, including technology assessments, roadmaps, and implementation plan analyses
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accommodate work across global time zones, when needed
-Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time, including international
-BA or BS degree required
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with the DoD
-Experience with working on commercial engagements 
-Experience with Agile development processes, including employing Agile practices in the context of implementing a transformation
-Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Cyber standards and frameworks, including NIST
-Knowledge of data science and analytics
-Possession of excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
-Possession of excellent problem solving, critical thinking, facilitation and consensus-building skills at the executive level, including connecting disparate stakeholders across different cultural environments
-MBA, MA, or MS degree preferred
