Test and Evaluation Engineer

Key Role:

Provide developmental test and evaluation support for the DoD and USAF on a variety of test programs. Author and coordinate documents, including test strategies, test and evaluation master plans (TEMPs), test plans, test objectives, test methodologies, evaluation criteria, and test procedures. Design, plan, and coordinate test events. Collect, review, and analyze test data, produce test reports, and support DoD-compliant deficiency reporting and resolution processes. Support T&E reviews, working groups, audits, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), and Integrated Test Teams (ITTs). Assess operational test (OT) plans for compatibility with operational requirements and transition criteria. Facilitate Operational Test and Evaluation Plan Preparation (TEPP) meetings, track DT- and OT issues, coordinate with stakeholders to closure, analyze and recreate issues in a lab environment, and provide clear recommendations to the client on resolutions through briefs and test reports.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with test and evaluation for DoD and USAF test processes and documentation

-Experience with multi-faceted tests and test project teams

-Experience in working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with systems engineering and integration
-Experience with satellite communications
-Experience with leading an end-to-end test event

-Possession of excellent interpersonal, analytical, time management, and presentation skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Secret clearance

-BS degree in a technical field preferred; MS degree in an engineering or technology field a plus
