Test and Evaluation Engineer

Key Role:

Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new or modified products or product components. Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Provide technical support and advice to other engineering groups as well as guiding and directing junior personnel on the set-up and performance of tests. Liaise with outside suppliers in establishing or modifying specifications for purchased items. Analyze and apply testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors. Participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. Lead or direct projects along with assisting with the review and evaluation of personnel performance, as needed.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with providing a wide range of systems engineering support and analyzing information requirements

-Experience with planning, performing, and documenting tests, assessments, and evaluations of communications systems

-Knowledge of communications and IT systems design principles

-Knowledge of DoD organizations and DoD test and evaluation practices and principles

-Ability to craft technical specifications so the technical requirements are verifiable

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Ability to perform analytic and systematic analysis on workflow, organization, and planning problems and analyze appropriate corrective action plans

-MA or MS degree

-INCOSE CSEP Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
