Test and Integration Engineer

Key Role:

Perform testing and integration of software components into development and production frameworks. Develop auto tests and shell scripts and obtain data from the operational environment to be used in lab testing and data flow verification. Interpret standard and non-standard communication protocols and adapt applications accordingly. Ensure end-products are developed, integrated and packaged to meet configuration management requirements. Test, verify, and assess new and emerging capabilities to support high-volume, low latency, mission critical systems. 

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with integration and testing, including the development and test of multiple enterprise messaging, streaming data processing, data storage and retrieval, and digital network protocol processing capabilities

-Experience with analyzing data processed in a test environment, ensuring results match expected outcomes, and resolving discrepancies

-Experience with using a Linux environments to test and validate software components
-Experience with shell scripting in bash and XML format

-Knowledge of the software build, test, and release process
-Ability to support full life cycle iterative development, requirements gathering, technical design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment
-Ability to review and assess software for performance, reliability, or maintainability

-Ability to support open, constant sharing of achievements via Scrum and agile processing methods including standups, sprint planning, review, and retrospectives, planned backlog grooming and task definition sessions, and ad hoc design

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree and 10 years of experience with software engineering or 12 years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with the intelligence community (IC)
-2 years of experience with supporting systems providing SIGINT capabilities

-Experience with communication protocols and packet level testing and analysis

-Experience with WIRESHARK

-Experience with using Subversion for configuration management

-Experience in working with or between multiple networks when conducting lab and live/dev test activities
