Test and Integration Engineer

Key Role:

Be involved in testing and integration of software components into development and production frameworks. Develop auto tests and shell scripts and obtain data from the operational environment to be used in lab testing and data flow verification. Test, troubleshoot, and resolve discrepancies, including interpreting standard and non-standard communication protocols and adapting applications accordingly. Ensure end-products are developed, integrated, and packaged to meet configuration management requirements. Test, verify, and assess new and emerging capabilities to support high-volume, low latency, mission critical systems. 


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with integration and testing, including the design, test, review and release process for existing and new capabilities

-Experience with analyzing data processed in a test environment, ensuring results match expected outcomes, and resolving discrepancies

-Experience with using a Linux environments to test and validate software components

-Experience with shell scripting, including bash

-Experience with XML format

-Experience with the development and testing of digital network protocol processing capabilities

-Experience with the development and testing of multiple technologies, including enterprise messaging, streaming data processing, data storage, and retrieval

-Knowledge of the software build, test,and release process

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree and 10 years of experience with integrating and testing systems using multiple operating systems or 12 years of experience with integrating and testing systems using multiple operating systems in lieu of a degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the intelligence community (IC) or signals intelligence activity

-Experience with supporting systems providing SIGINT capabilities

-Experience with communication protocols

-Experience with packet-level testing and analysis

-Experience with WIRESHARK

-Experience with using Subversion for configuration management

-Experience in working with or between multiple networks when conducting lab and live/dev test activities

-Experience with Scrum and Agile processing methods, including standups, sprint planning, review, and retrospectives, backlog grooming, task definition for sessions planned, and ad hoc design
