Test Engineer, Mid

Key Role:
Analyze, design, develop, and maintain test cases, test approaches, and test plans. Conduct manual functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and report issues found during the test life cycle. Create test cases that verify approved requirements for assigned modules and document results. Perform software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis. Support continuous improvement of the current test process. Decipher requirements and test scope when documentation is unavailable. Perform IT business analysis tasks, including requirements gathering in conjunction with the requirements team, lead Joint Application Design (JAD) meetings, and assist with the development of requirements document artifacts.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with functional testing
-2+ years of experience with using automated test tools to test Web–based applications
-2+ years of experience with creating automated test scripts and developing RVTMs, test plans, and procedures
-Experience in using test automation tools, including Selenium and automated testing with cruise control and subversion
-Experience with Agile development methodologies
-Knowledge of the software development life cycle
-Ability to troubleshoot and debug
-Ability to write and maintain technical documents
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with testing Web applications
-Experience with the project management framework
-Experience with business process analysis and development
-Knowledge of SharePoint and Java
-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
-Possession of excellent team leadership and development, client relationship, problem–solving, and analytical reasoning skills
