Test Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Lead risk management assessment of software and hardware. Maintain responsibility for testing environment. Write test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex SW/HW applications. Prepare test data, transform test plans into test scripts and execute those scripts, witness, or conduct test activities as directed, prepare test plans and procedures, and write test reports based on test results in test logs or defect tracking systems. Conduct testing analysis and develop and document testing result conclusions offer recommendations as supported by analysis. Prepare Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), Test/Evaluation Report Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and lead and participate in T&E Working Integrated Project Teams (WIPTs). Monitor and support on-site Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), family-of-systems interoperability testing, modeling and simulation (M&S) activities required during system life cycle, and experiments to characterize system operational performance. Evaluate operational effectiveness, suitability, and survivability testing of commercial and non-developmental items, including acceptance and special testing required to certify fielded systems following installation.


Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience in system testing

-10 years of experience with writing test plans, testing scripts, analysis, and documentation

-Top Secret clearance required

-BS degree in Engineering or Science


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with an Army PM, preferred

-Experience with Cyber tool testing and operations, preferred


Clearance:
