Trainer/Logistics Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a logistics analyst and trainer to support property management, accountability, and logistics at a United States Army Reserve Mission Training Complex. Determine overall support requirements for military systems, obtain and research data required to perform related analysis, and direct and coordinate the development of materials for tracking and status reporting. Anticipate logistics problems related to the operational area along with environmental and human factors. Determine overall support requirements, including facilities, safety, and maintenance, conduct life-cycle management, participate in the procurement process for necessary support items, and transition to serve as a Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS) trainer based on event training plans and train military users on MCiS. Develop training methods and materials, including curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with the client and user specifications, maintain technical and tactical proficiency with the software and training support package (TSP) products for multiple mission command information systems (MCiS) in support of live, virtual, constructive, gaming - integrated architecture (LVCG-IA) training exercises, and test and troubleshoot hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems using capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events. Analyze and document flaws in system configuration and implement corrections, participate in special projects, perform additional duties to support client requirements, as required, and provide over-the-shoulder coaching on all systems used in training exercises. Assist with system trouble shooting, exercise site set up, configurations, system checks, system testing, and tear down after exercise completion and serve as an onsite system subject matter expert providing technical expertise and system support operations.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience as a unit supply non-commissioned officer, property book officer, or logistics officer

-Knowledge of Army supply procedures

-Ability to train military system operators on Mission Command Information Systems

-Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job

-Ability to support training exercises in a semi-austere environment, as necessary

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with conducting training and training exercises for military service members

-Experience with using digital logistics systems during simulations and live exercises and delivering Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS) training based on event training plans

-Experience in working with or training any of the following systems: Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), Virtual Battle Simulation Version 3 (VBS3), Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and system subcomponents, Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), Multiple Unified Simulation Environment/Virtual Reality Scene Generator (MUSE/VRSG), Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A), or Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS)

-Experience with using official system program and product manager's training products or in the absence of a designated program or product manager, using the commercial software and hardware developer's technical and training material

-Experience with military service with command post operations a plus

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

-Ability to deliver operator-level training in a classroom environment in accordance with established Mission Training Complex TSPs

-Trained as a digital master gunner, battle staff operations, or military instructor certified preferred
