Training and Curriculum Senior Manager

Key Role:

Oversee the project and apply advanced knowledge and expertise to consult and collaborate with clients to uncover performance and behavior gaps and recommend holistic learning strategies to achieve the business objectives through learning and performance solutions. Apply knowledge of instructional design practices for face-to-face, virtual, self-paced, and performance support delivery approaches, program evaluation techniques, learning technologies, including SCORM and Section 508 compliance, change management, communications, and an array of eLearning, immersive learning, mobile learning, and virtual classroom development approaches. Manage client discussions with intent to advance the client’s ability to think strategically and plan strategies that meet organizational learning and performance goals and determine key messages, audiences, and optimal timelines for organizational communications. Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, key subject matter experts, decision makers, and other stakeholders involved in the successful implementation of the learning strategy and solutions. Manage learning engagements, including strategic direction, client relationships, budget estimates and tracking, resources, and scheduling to ensure successful outcome and contribute to business development opportunities and proposals. Leverage knowledge of a variety of instructional delivery approaches, including ILT, eLearning, virtual classroom, performance support, immersive learning, mobile learning, and self-paced. Oversee the deployment of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS), manage professional employees or supervisors, and maintain budget and deadline responsibility in the area managed.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with overseeing large projects and working with stakeholder management

-Experience in working with clients and other SMEs to uncover performance and behavior gaps and recommend holistic learning strategies

-Experience with leading instructional design practices, program evaluation techniques, learning technologies, including SCORM and Section 508 compliance, change management, communications, or an array of eLearning, immersive learning, mobile learning, or virtual classroom development approaches

-Experience with a variety of instructional delivery approaches, including ILT, eLearning, virtual classroom, performance support, immersive learning, mobile learning, and self-paced

-Experience with overseeing the deployment of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)

-Experience with strategic communications in a client setting and preparing and conducting briefings for general officers and other senior leaders

-Experience with managing staff, budget, and schedules

-Ability to contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas and manage client discussion on a regular basis

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience in a Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) role


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the military or cross-agency executive working groups

-Experience in working with VA, the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or Air Force as a support contractor

-Experience with the Veterans Benefits Administration’s (VBA) Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

-Scrum Master Certification
