Training and Deployment Project Manager

Key Role:

Work in a Joint Program Management Office (PMO) supporting 2 ACAT IAM healthcare IT programs. Maintain 11 legacy products that together make up an electronic health record (EHR) system while developing a new modernized EHR system that will support operational medicine soldiers, sailors, and airmen around the globe. Serve as a member of the deployment and training team to coordinate program attendance at exercises, stakeholder engagement meetings, or training events. Assist with the coordination and scheduling of training and trip events, evaluate current procedures, and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects. Coordinate with a variety of military and government medical and IT personal across all of the DoD Services.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with working in government program offices

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

-Experience with preparing reports for management regarding project status

-Ability to organize and store team content in knowledge management systems, including SharePoint, Local Area Network, Joint Knowledge Online (JKO), MilSuite, and JAZZ or CM Library

-Ability to provide project task management, including identification, tracking status, reporting, and closeout

-Ability to extract data from reports, including CDRLs and SOPs to identify risks and issues

-Ability to identify dependencies with other business lines within the program office

-Ability to work well in a collaborative environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in the DoD or with military service, including acquisition, project management, or health IT preferred

-Experience with the deployment and training of health IT preferred

-Experience with scheduling preferred

-Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
