Training and Technical Assistance Specialist

Key Role:
Manage the provision of training and technical assistance services to a Department of Justice client. Develop performance management curriculum and coordinate with clients and PMT SMEs to develop and deliver training on performance management concepts to federal staff. Work with the client to build new programmatic performance management capabilities and increase workforce performance. Develop learning programs and training curricula to support federal staff in their comprehension of programmatic performance management. Provide client staff with training and technical assistance on programmatic performance management concepts. Develop training materials, including FAQs and guides on performance management concepts in an electronic format. Develop training materials on performance indicators, creating logic models, data collection, validation, and verification principles, data analysis and reporting of performance data, and identifying training needs, deliver training, and analyze the development of a strategic plan for developing and implementing training throughout the contract year.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with planning, developing, and delivering training
-Experience with curriculum development from conceptualization through delivery
-Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
-Knowledge of a variety of curriculum development instructional strategies
-Ability to communicate effectively with federal clients from the full range of justice disciplines, including those at the executive level
-Ability to leverage program and project implementation capabilities
-Ability to plan, organize, manage training programs, evaluate curriculum, and conduct needs assessments
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required
 

Additional Qualifications:
-BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation, Human Development, or a related field
