Training SME

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for compiling the analysis, design, development, testing, and fielding of training artifacts, guides, classroom instruction, and Computer–Based Training (CBT) offerings. Evaluate and ensure quality control checks are built into the successful implementation of training plans, deliverables, and strategies. Collect, compile, analyze, and synthesize information to determine requirements and needs and implement training solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with developing training products for DoD information systems

-Experience as Army personnel in S1 or G1

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

-Ability to work with senior military stakeholders and present command–level briefings to coordinate and schedule training delivery to all Active and Reserve Division, Corps, Major Commands (MACOMs), Combatant Commands (COCOMs), and all Army National Guard locations across the 54 states and territories

-Active Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience as a human resources (HR) or pay specialist

-Experience with instructional design preferred

-Experience with conducting site surveys related to the identification of optimal training and processes for improving training
-Knowledge of TRADOC Regulation 350–70, Systems Approach to Training (SAT), and management processes and products

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail under pressure and as part of a team

-Ability to coordinate and schedule established training across the Army

-Ability to think critically and act as an active listener

-Ability to self–motivate and work to add value to the organization

-Possession of excellent problem–solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree
-Instruction Certification preferred
