Training Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Assess the effectiveness of training to ensure training meets objectives and Joint standards and maintain Joint training standards. Evaluate training objectives, determine revisions for course materials, and assess course equivalency and training initiatives, including identifying shortfalls and developing mitigation strategies. Assess readiness for Cyberspace forces for conducting Cyberspace operations. Participate in planning and scheduling for training and exercise events and observation activities. Develop requirements for collective training and exercise events, including identifying and tracking observations and lessons learned from training and exercise events internally to USCYBERCOM and across the Joint Force for resolution. Contribute substantive content to the development and maintenance of training curriculums, schedules, Joint Cyber training and certification standards, and training readiness manual. Assist with the coordination and development of Joint mission essential tasks, reviewing Joint mission essential task lists, and assessing the USCYBERCOM’s ability to meet the Joint mission essential task list standards.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with training

-Ability to contribute substantive content to the development of readiness reports and prepare and coordinate training plans, schedules, and other reports

-Ability to develop and maintain training curriculums, schedules, training and readiness manuals, and other training documentation and guidance

-Ability to contribute substantive content to the development and maintenance of Joint standards for training and readiness reports

-Ability to effectively communicate and pay attention to detail

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree in Training, Training and Development, or Organizational Development

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the US Combatant Command

-Experience with supporting USCYBERCOM or Joint force or agency environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, writing, briefing, coaching, and leadership skills
