Training Support Engineering Technician

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in national security? You will understand your client’s environment and missions as you develop, direct, plan, and evaluate the technical training approaches needed for fielding Directed Energy systems. You will help to ensure essential training is done effectively and quickly using a combination of hands on and interactive eLearning tools tailored to each sub-system. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical training specifications makes you an integral part of delivering client-focused engineering solutions to their needs.

As a training support systems engineering technician on our team, you’ll develop and implement learning strategies, programs, and processes for the effective use of the client organization’s human capital in operating and maintaining complex directed energy (DE) systems. You will develop and employ various tools for assessing the level of training of DE system operators and maintainers. You will analyze current and emerging commercial and military directed energy technologies and analyze the development of training programs for these new technologies. This is your chance to develop your skills in assessing DE technologies and system designs and analyzing training programs tailored to the specific technologies and requirements of offensive and defensive applications of DE systems for Air Force missions. Join our team and help turn mission requirements into training programs for the operators and maintainers of DE systems that promise to be game changers for military missions.
