Travel/Budget Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for oversight and day-to-day management of staff efforts, activities and performance per statement of work. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the development and execution of a project plan. Monitor a project’s timeline and budget. Provide onsite supervision of staff and quality assurance. Complete submissions of travel authorizations, vouchers, and supporting documentation. Provide oral and written guidance to travelers, research travel procedures, and liaise with the division’s finance staff to ensure appropriate guidance is provided to travelers. Conduct research analysis and make recommendations to improve document processes and metrics for senior leadership review. 
 

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience as a team lead or manager
-Experience with financial reporting
-Experience with identifying errors and taking appropriate corrective actions
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including substantial use of Microsoft Excel
-Knowledge of the federal travel authorization and voucher process
-Knowledge of travel systems similar to E2 Solutions
-Ability to reconcile financial data, including reconciling invoices and validating payments for financial transactions, including travel 
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with providing travel scheduling, and accounting
-Knowledge of federal travel regulations (FTRs)
-Ability to multi-task and problem solve
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Public Trust clearance
-BA or BS degree in Business
