UI/UX Designer

Key Role:

Assist the firm with incubating and delivering disruptive solutions for government and commercial clients through UI/UX analyst and design work. Leverage expertise in UI/UX design work as part of an Agile Web site development team to define and implement solutions for visuals and experience. Assist with analyzing user behaviors and translating user requirements into interactive wireframes using a variety of software applications, techniques, and tools. Interact with multiple solution teams to comprehend and support the implementation of requirements. Assist with ensuring the quality of final designs, apply intuitive UI/UX designs to the wireframes, and make sure they are successfully implemented by the development team, including reviewing developed screens in the test environment. Leverage expertise in designing marketing collateral and have experience working with graphics.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with user research, usability, information science, or the interface design and development field
-2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative tool suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop

-Experience with using Sketch to develop wireframes

-Experience with creating and documenting information design concepts and solutions by various means, including wireframes, high fidelity prototypes, or task flow diagrams

-Experience with interaction design principles and guidelines

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with design support for the Web

-Experience with delivering high-impact design products, including Web sites, Web applications, mobile applications, and brand strategies

-Experience with working on an Agile team

-Experience with designing e-mail and marketing campaigns to aesthetically appeal to end users

-Knowledge of creating, managing, and supporting UX and feedback activities, including usability testing

-Knowledge of design principles, Web-based technologies, HTML, CSS, best practices, and responsive design

-Ability to apply complex graphics design principles, theories, and practices

-Ability to create conceptual designs for Web page and other electronic media

-Ability to prioritize issues, meet deadlines, and balance speed and quality successfully to ensure the best user experience within the preferred timeframe
-Ability to interpret oral and written descriptions, including user stories and convert them into visual representations through prototypes

-Possession of excellent analytical skills
