Unified Communications Support Technician

Key Role:

Support the Booz Allen corporate unified communications (UC) and voice services firm wide. Play a key role as part of a team that provides technical support, consulting, integration project management, and maintenance support for Booz Allen and client facilities. Leverage significant experience in the UC and Information Technology (IT) fields, including VoIP, teleconferencing, VTC, and collaboration technology support. Collaborate with other Booz Allen staff organizations to provide the technical support for internal systems and projects related to UC technologies. Work directly with the help desk through the firm’s ticketing system to analyze and resolve client UC voice-related issues. Leverage training opportunities to learn new skills and maintain a high level of industry knowledge, and pass that training on to others. This position will require the ability to provide occasional evening and weekend support.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with supporting UC voice solutions

-2+ years of experience with VoIP/SIP-based communications

-2+ years of experience in working with an enterprise ticketing system

-Knowledge of various telecommunications systems

-Ability to quickly analyze technical data and communicate with others to resolve issues

-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent customer service skills

-BA degree

-CompTIA Security+ Certification

-CUCM Certification
