University - Digital Solutions Developer

A Day in the Life of a Digital Solutions Developer at Booz Allen:

Design, develop, deploy, and operate digital systems, applications, and products in a private, public, or hybrid Cloud using microservices, monolithic architectures, Agile, and DevOps practices. Collaborate with clients to define project needs and gather requirements effectively. Test work products and demonstrate product functionality to clients. Help veterans get their benefits. Work with a major defense division to keep weapons of mass destruction from threat actors. Ensure that overseas military can vote. Turn big thinking into big change. These positions may be located in VA, DC, or MD.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with one of the following programming languages or frameworks: GoLang, Java, Spring, React.js, Node.js, or Angular.js

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of Agile development

-Knowledge of Cloud platforms and operating systems

-Ability to be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent time management and organizational expertise

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in Winter 2018 or Spring 2019


Additional Qualifications:

-Pursuing a BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT, or a related field preferred
