University Recruiting Lead

Key Role:

Design and execute Booz Allen’s future university strategy to attract and acquire the right talent into a company that empowers its employees to change the world. Build strong relationships both within and outside the company that will develop champions of the program and drive results. Work with various levels of leadership to effectively negotiate and influence without direct management authority, and drive change management in the business as an essential component to implementing the strategy. Partner with the recruitment marketing team to enhance Booz Allen’s brand and value proposition among the college and STEM pipeline spectrum, and ensure a focus on diversity recruitment in partnership with the diversity and inclusion organization. Manage the school selection process through a data-driven analysis, identifying, tracking, and analyzing key performance measures that will shape the strategy and execution and drive accountability. Work with colleagues to explore and recommend university recruiting strategies using new sourcing tools, techniques, and technologies to build the talent of the future, while driving continual process improvement and ensuring 100% compliance. Leverage prior experience in managing a virtual team and in training and developing team members to reach their ultimate potential and successfully execute on their commitments.


Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including university recruiting and campus relations

-5+ years of experience with leading and managing high functioning recruiting and sourcing teams and driving time and priority management in a fast-paced environment

-Experience with identifying and implementing recruiting best practices that inform and shape strategies and decisions

-Experience with developing, measuring, and driving results from ROI and other key analytics

-Experience with project management

-Ability to influence leadership and drive change

-Ability to work effectively across functions and organizations


Additional Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with managing university relations and recruiting programs

-Experience with leading virtual teams

-Experience with successfully assessing a team’s skills, capabilities, and gaps and coaching team members to improve performance

-Experience in working with Workday

-Experience with social media platforms and developing effective campaigns and outreach

-Experience with change management

-Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent presentation skills

-BA or BS degree in Human Resources, Organization Management, or Business
