Utilities Market Business Leader

Key Role:
Design, manage, maintain, and grow client accounts for the firm’s utilities practice, leading account teams through the entire client engagement process, including relationship building, marketing, opportunity shaping, proposal development, and delivery and execution oversight. Work closely with the VP of energy, fellow account leaders, account managers, account teams, and subject matter experts in a highly collaborative environment. Stay highly engaged with security leaders in the power generation and transmission industry and lead combined capability or domain teams in the generation of tangible customer value, growth, and additional revenue. Provide strategic direction to account teams as the holistic owner of key client relationships and lead a team of account managers responsible and accountable for the overall relationship with designated accounts. Participate and provide thought leadership in the establishment, review, and revision of the firm’s go-to-market strategy in the area of power utilities security transformation. Play a leadership role in professional communities, strategic, firm-wide projects, and investment opportunities related to subject matter expertise, share expertise with others, and mentor and develop up-and-coming professionals in their fields of endeavor. Leverage industry expertise, including IT and OT expertise, to lead large and complex consulting and services client engagements for energy clients, represent Booz Allen at industry and association events, and bring existing client relationships to develop new leads and increase revenue within this client base.

Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience with utilities account growth within the utilities market, exceeding $20 million per year in revenue

-5+ years of experience in leading account teams through the entire client engagement process, including relationship building, marketing, opportunity shaping, proposal development, and delivery and execution oversight

-Experience with forces driving changes in utilities operations and business models

-Experience with working in a fast-paced environment at a large technology-focused professional services firm

-Experience in initiating and sustaining successful customer relationships with major utilities clients

-Knowledge of current business models and utilities operations

-BA or BS degree or 15 years of experience with the energy and utilities industry

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with engineering or data analytics services in the energy utilities space

-Experience as an executive in the energy utilities industry and associations

-Ability to be effective in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

-MA or MS degree or 20 years of experience in a relevant industry preferred
