UX Designer

Key Role:
Serve as a key contributor and perform work that is critical to a project's success. Design and build websites or Web-based applications. Support website development from requirements gathering to implementation and ongoing maintenance. Coordinate with project managers, graphics designers, and developers to design and implement holistic solutions. Employ cross-functional methodologies, including design thinking, user experience design, customer experience, and user-centered design to support the analysis, design, and development of new and existing systems. Create high and low fidelity wireframes and design artifacts. Diagram user flows, data flows, site architectures, and user interfaces. Analyze functional business requirements and design specifications and provide analyses and solutions for user interaction problems.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in a professional Web design or graphics role

-Experience with creating UI design concepts for applications and Web sites

-Experience with conducting customer segmentation analyses and comprehensive user research

-Experience with new services, product development, and launches and the quantitative approach to problem solving and recommendation development

-Experience with using proactive and independent research to identify industry insights, best practices, and applicable recommendation areas

-Experience with supporting stakeholders and users in specific engagement interviews, workshops, and deliverable presentations

-Ability to define and deliver key components of a customer experience improvement strategy, including analysis, recommendations, and implementation of road maps

-Ability to decompose a problem logically, think through a technical approach, and attack the problem in a systematic way and engage and collaborate with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and cross-browser compatibility issues

-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

-BA or BS degree preferred
