Vehicle Systems Architecture Engineer

Key Role:
Provide subject matter expertise in systems engineering and integration, requirements management, and analysis support to a DoD client with a primary focus on ground vehicle programs and apply systems thinking and subject matter expertise to aid clients in technology and program development. Leverage model–based systems engineering techniques and tools to develop and mature system models, including behavior, structure, and other architectural elements and comprehend and apply systems engineering best practices. Comprehend and apply current DoD systems engineering and acquisition guidance. Prepare and present program status updates to client management using metrics–based reports. Work well across a distributed team to identify and resolve conflicts and technical issues within platforms, systems, and teams. Research, draft, and review systems engineering products. Assist with the development of program milestone documents, including initial capabilities documents, capability development documents, interface control documents, and system engineering plans. This position is located in Troy, MI and Warren, MI.

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with product development or systems engineering and integration projects
-Experience with UML or SysML modeling
-Experience with DOORS and requirements management
-Secret clearance
-BS degree in Engineering or CS

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes
-INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
-OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional Certification
-Model Builder Fundamental, Intermediate, or Advanced Certification
