Virtual Battle Space Trainer

Key Role:

Plan, prepare, and deliver virtual and gaming systems in training environments, including classrooms for individual training and venues for collective training of small to large groups. Train military users and develop training methods and materials, including curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with the client and user specifications. Consult with users to design and create scenarios, configure systems to meet training requirements, participate in special projects, and perform additional duties to support client requirements, as needed. This position is located at Fort Lee, VA.

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with the US Army
-4+ years of experience with leading Army training

-Experience with Virtual Battle Space (VBS) software

-Experience with conducting tactical mounted or dismounted movement

-Knowledge of computer networking and software installation and configuration

-Ability to develop and present briefings, analyze training plans, and assemble documentation

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below

-Experience as a motor transport operator

-Experience with the US Army Reserve or US Army National Guard
-Experience as a collective trainer

-Knowledge of military live, virtual, constructive, and gaming (LVC-G) training methods and procedures

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-AA or AS degree in IT. Simulations, or a related field

-Joint Capabilities Release (FBCB2 -JCR)
